T-shirts and camp at Taylorsville high school

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

I have t-shirts that are available for purchase for those who are interested. They are $20 and you can order them by going through the donations section of the site. Just send me an email through the site or at justindruiz@yahoo.com please include your size and your mailing address so that I can send you your shirt. Thanks for your support.

June 15th-19th I will be holding a camp at Taylorsville high school. There will be two sessions each day for two hours a piece for the older kids 8 and up and a one hour session each day for kids under 8. The cost is $150 for the older kids if registered before May 15th and $200 after that. For the younger kids it is $50 for the early bird discount and $75 afterwards. Send me an email at justindruiz@yahoo.com  and I will email you back a registration form. It is the first year of the camp, but we are expecting to have a great camp that provides quality instruction at a very reasonable price. I wish you the best and hope you keep fighting for your dreams!

Mountain View Clinic

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Last Tuesday I did a wrestling clinic for Mountain View High School in Mt. View, Wy. The clinic was a lot of fun for me. We were small in numbers, and it enabled me to take the time to ask each participant if there was something that they were having trouble with that I could help out with. They all had questions that I feel like I was able to answer and we were able to have some fun and learn some wrestling together. I really appreciate all of the support that I have received doing these clinics. I have been able to meet a lot of great people that love the sport and want to be their best.

As you know for the last nine months my wife and I have been living in Evanston, Wy. I had a job opportunity that seemed to be a good idea at the time when I took, and fortunately for me there is an even better opportunity waiting for me elsewhere. Tomorrow we are packing up everything in a Uhaul and will be heading to Utah for a couple of days before we head on to Boise, ID on Thursday. Russell Brunson, one of my friends and teammates from the Elite wrestling club from high school, gave me a call and wanted to know if I would be interested in working with him to start a club for world class athletes. I jumped on the opportunity and am so excited to be moving to Boise where I will be able to be able to start training and competing again while at the same time have an opportunity to provide financially for my family. I am so excited that the days have been passing so slowly as I wait until it is time to go. Only one more day, and we will be starting out on a new journey. I just can’t wait!
